I apologise again for the long read.
In series 1 (on Wednesday August 09, 2017), we discussed the spirit of man and how to restore your spiritual perception. In this series, we will further understand the HUMAN SPIRIT and the VITAL key to UNLEASHING YOUR SPIRITUALITY.
Proverbs 20:27 (NIV)
The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on one’s inmost being.
A lamp gives light in darkness so that your eyes can see and subsequently guide the body. The bible says your HUMAN SPIRIT is God's Lamp not to DIRECT GOD. He doesn't need our direction or instruction, rather your human spirit IS USED BY GOD to direct you.
Job 40:1-2 (KJV)
Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said, Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him?
1 Corinthians 2:16 (KJV)
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
When you asked Jesus into your life, the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, the HOLY SPIRIT, entered your HUMAN SPIRIT. The Holy Spirit lives in your Human Spirit. Only a spirit could have entered your Human Spirit. Jesus is not a Spirit. He is Physical. He can be touched and felt. He is all FLESH & BONES because he shed every pint of His blood for our redemption.
Luke 24:39-40 (KJV)
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
Ephesians 5:30 (KJV)
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Romans 8:9 (KJV)
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
The Holy Spirit can only reside in your human spirit because man was created and patterned like a temple. The bible calls us His Temple.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (KJV)
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
And if you know anything about the temple, you will know that the temple has 2 Major Layouts and the 2nd Layout divided into 2. i.e
1. OUTER COURT
2. INNER COURT
a. Holy Place
b. Most Holy Place or Holy of Holies
Thus, the temple has 3 COMPARTMENTS. So are you. You exist in 3 dimensions (refer to part 1)
1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV)
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
TEMPLE MAN
1. OUTER COURT OUTER MAN / Body
2. INNER COURT INNER MAN
a. Holy Place a. Mind or Soul
b. Most Holy Place b. Spirit
In the Old Testament, God dwelt in the Most Holy Place but when Jesus died, the veil that shielded the Most Holy Place from the people was torn from top to bottom
Mark 15:38 (KJV)
And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
This signifies that the partition between God and man has been torn and man can boldly assess God for themselves and God can now dwell 'in' man as He seeks. This is called THE NEW AND LIVING WAY.
Hebrews 10:19-20 (KJV)
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
AM ABOUT TO UNVEIL one of the major ways of unleashing, discovering or even restoring your spiritual sensitivity.
1 Corinthians 2:9-11 (KJV)
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. BUT GOD HATH REVEALED THEM UNTO US ( the human spirit) BY HIS SPIRIT: for the Spirit (the HUMAN SPIRIT) searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Let me point out some things from the above scripture. The word says that, those things which the eye & ear (THESE REPRESENTS THE BODY) has neither seen or heard, neither entered our heart (REPRESENTING THE MIND) has been revealed unto us.
So WHO is 'US'?
God is a Spirit and can only be contacted by and through the spirit which was created in His Image & Likeness
John 4:24 (KJV)
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The real MAN is the SPIRIT MAN!
So that scripture tells us that hidden things can be known. Wow! Praise God!
But NOTE!
The Spirit of God reveals those things when OUR HUMAN SPIRIT not the Holy Ghost SEARCHES. The Holy Ghost cannot search to know all things because He is OMNISCIENT, He already knows all things!
So which spirit is searching to know??????
THE HUMAN SPIRIT!
The Holy Ghost is like the INTERNET, our Human Spirit is the GOOGLE search engine!!!!!
People make comments like Google knows everything. Sorry, but am going to refute that. Google doesn't know everything, THE INTERNET KNOWS EVERYTHING!
Google only knows what has
1. Imputed into its search bar by a man
2. And that same man presses the 'enter' button on the device
3. Then Google immediately searches the
Internet in milliseconds and presents the man answers to his query.
NOW WAIT FOR IT!!!!!
So is the Spirit of Man!
He searches to know!
How does he search?
Back to our analogy: For Google to search the Internet for answers, Google MUST be hooked up to the Internet. Likewise for your Human Spirit to search the things of God, he has to be hooked up to the Spirit of God, must be born again. In fact, it is the Spirit of God that helps our Human Spirit in that search.
Romans 8:26-27 (KJV)
Likewise the Spirit (Holy Ghost) also helpeth our infirmities (shortcomings): for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
So one of the Major keys to unleashing your spirituality is PRAYING. ESPECIALLY PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST.
This is ENTIRELY A SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE!
It is not a physical experience!
When you pray (UPLOAD your query) intensely and earnestly in TONGUES, DOWNLOADING occurs. That's why I teach people to 'wait on the Lord' especially after prayers to download answers to their prayers as well as solutions and guidance.
When you make it a habit of praying long periods in tongues you will arrive at a point in your life where you know things. It also get to a point when 'entering' the Spirit comes without a struggle.
It has be scientifically proven that praying in tongues is entirely spiritual.
