The Role of Prayer in Marriage Success

I love prayer, oh i love prayer. I might not pray as much as i want to; but i try to pray always as the bible prescribes (talk for another day). I dare not BELITTLE PRAYER with this post but please get my point before you judge.

Marriage is AN EMOTIONAL NEED MEETING RELATIONSHIP not a spiritual need meeting platform, we have plenty platforms for that need to be met. So when we are not meeting the emotional needs of our spouse, we are failing.

When we think that all of our marriage problems will go away because we are prayerful or won't go away because we are not praying enough, we make a big mistake.

Prayer that leaves 100% responsibility to God is a sluggard's prayer. When we pray, we need to 'answer' our prayers. Because when prayers are uploaded, wisdom should be downloaded. When these downloaded bytes of instruction are acted upon, we will get answers to our prayer, (of course doesn't include ALL issues sponsored from the ethereal realm, but you get my point, don't you?)

As husbands, we should take note of this scripture below. As wives's should please watch the video by clicking the the picture or copy the link underneath & paste on your browser. My point exactly is that we should not emphasis prayer more than wisdom for marital issues, NO! Wisdom is profitable to direct as well as the principal thing.

1 Peter 3:7 (NKJV) Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding (wisely),

giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel,

and as being heirs together of the grace of life,

that your prayers may not be hindered.
