John 15:7 (KJV) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Jesus in the above scripture gave us an OPEN CHEQUE, imagine receiving an open cheque from a man like Bill Gates?
Ok, ok come back from your dream world, 😂. That's the exact way I feel whenever I read this scripture, DREAM LAND!!! Because I know the capacity of the speaker here: Colossians 1:16 (KJV) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible... But my point are the 2 critical elements He mentioned as per-requisite to cashing the open cheque. 1. Abiding in Him (Christ) 2. His Words Abiding in you.
ABIDING IN CHRIST
Speaks of having a deep relationship with our Lord Jesus. As well as being an avid study of the word because Jesus is the word made flesh. A constant, continued study and meditation on the word, gives one a deep revelation of Christ, a deep knowledge of Him, which is truth & revelation of His four dimensions.
HIS WORDS ABIDE IN YOU Knowledge, revelation of the word is insufficient, until OBEDIENCE to his words, instructions & commands is our modus operandi. People close to me know am a stickler to the word, I always ask, what will Jesus do? What does the word say? I am not perfect yet but am taking steps daily towards the mark. I have made mistakes, several in fact. But God sees the heart, and the heart is everything.
I strive to the best of my ability to do the word and not to be a hearer only.
I enjoin you today to heed to these two instructions from Jesus because, as two feet gives one balance, so will anyone that adheres to these instructions of our Master be balanced.
Not just balanced, but in possession of an OPEN CHEQUE in the place of prayer.
It's your The 2nd half of the year, It's your 2017 folks. Regardless of all the chaos around you, you will tiptoe around them all. As thousands flank you, they will fall so you will remain the only standing target 🎯 for those blessings headed with speed towards you... #sAinT
