DISCLAIMER : THE STORY DOESN'T HAVE A SCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT AN EAGLE DOES THIS.

The Eagle has the longest life-span of all birds. It can live up to 70 years. But to reach this age, the eagle must re-invent itself. Roundabout it's 40th year, the eagle's long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey. Its long and sharp beak bends further till it loses its usefulness. Its old-aged wings become too heavy, due to the thick feathers sticking to its chest hence making it very difficult to flap and glide.

The eagle is then left with two options:

1. DIE or

2. Undergo a painful CHANGE process. This process lasts for approximately 150 days (5 months) He fasts all through and survives on only water. The process requires that the eagle retreat to its mountain top nest to begin the excruciating journey of re-invention.

A. There, the eagle knocks its beak against a rock for days until it falls off, then it waits for a new beak to grow back and replace the old bent beak.

B. With the brand new beak, it plucks out its talons, one after the other. When its talons grow back,

C. The eagle starts plucking off its old aged and heavy feathers. This cycle lasts for approximately 5 months. At the end of which the eagle is rebirthed and born-again.

And steps out of its nest to go hunt for prey to end its 5 months long fast. The bible said that for a believer, the first thing in order of events listed by Jesus is that a new believer should 'hunt' for devils and cast them out.

Mark 16:17 (KJV)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

It takes its famous flight of rebirth and lives for another 30 more years! Why is Change needed??? In order to survive and live. We too have to start the change process. We sometimes need to get rid of the unpleasant old memories, negative habits and our fixed mind set. Only Freed from the past burdens can we take advantage of the present. If an eagle can make a life saving and life changing decision at the age of 40....why can't we? In order to take on a New Journey ahead, let go of your negative old limiting beliefs. Open up your mind and let yourself fly high like an eagle! When it rains, every other bird scamper for shelter. But the EAGLE heads for the storm by flying straight into it and above the clouds.
